"Many customers "double strike" their translucent material to help the image from becoming "washed out" when the material is lit. On light boxes with very bright bulbs (typically when the box is very high off the ground) you can print the image on clear vinyl, and apply the same image directly on top of it, printed on white translucent, for the greatest "pop" from the colors. If you are using a clear substrate, and getting "hot spots" of light, try adding diffuser film to the back of the substrate. It will help even out the light diffusion and give you a more even tone."
