"Some customers extend the laminate ½" to 1" over the print to ensure adhesion to the floor. To do this, simply die cut the graphic and laminate it. Then hand cut or die cut the laminate at a larger size. It is critical to test your vinyl adhesion and its effect on the surface below. Especially if your customer is planning on removing the vinyl floor graphics later on. For example, some wood varnishes (like on a basketball court) may come up with the vinyl at removal time."
