Clean and straight edged wiper blades are important in the printing process. Wiper blades collect exce3ss ink from the nozzle plate. Keeping the wiper blade and housing free of gelled or dried ink is critical. Wiper blades are inexpensive (average monthly cost is typically between $4 and $10) and critical to successful printing. Please refer to your owner's manual for recommended replacement timing.
